| The hostel is located in the exact center of the city, so is possible to walk everywhere within 15 to 20 minutes, the only thing that you do need is a map as the streets get really messy, your main reference point is Plaza Encarnacion, from there you only have to walk 100m to find Doña Maria Coronel street.
From the train station Santa Justa
In the train station, take the esculator up to the center of the station. Exit throught the doors marked B or C. Walk along the front of the station past the taxis, to the bus stops. There take Bus No. 32 to Plaza Encarnacion. It is the last stop. From the bus stop cross the road and walk into the Plaza, to the fountain. The second street on the left it’s Doña Maria Coronel.
From Bus Station Plaza de armas By bus:
Exit the station and to the left you will see a taxi rank and in front of it a Bus Stop. Take Bus No. B2 to Plaza Encarnacion, then follow the directions above. The bus route is very indirect and takes a long time, so if you prefer, take a taxi from the stand to Plaza Encarnacion for about 7 Euros. Or if your bag isn’t too heavy, it is a direct 15 minute walk:
From the Airport
There is just one bus that takes to the city. Get off at the train station stop and walk back 30 meters in the direction from which you came to the stop of bus No.32. Then follow the directions above ‘from Santa Justa train station’. A taxi to Plaza Encarnation will cost 20 euros, plus an extra charge for luggage.
From bus station Prado – San Sebastian
Take Bus No. 25, 26 or 33 to the Plaza Nueva stop. (It is a huge Plaza with a monument of a horse in the centre – you can’t miss it.) When you get off the bus, cross the plaza diagonally and take the street (Calle Granada) on the left side of the big goverrnment building. Shortly you find a Tourism Office on your left. Stop and collect information if you wish. Then take the street behind the Tourist Office (Calle Sierpes) to your left. Follow down that street until it cross with (6 th street on the right) Calle Laraña (or Martin Villa), turn right until you find Plaza Encarnacion then, cross the road and walk into the Plaza, to the fountain. The second street on the left it’s Doña Maria Coronel. |
