Multi-lingual staff As our guests come from all over the world and not everyone speaks Spanish, we can help you out in English, Italian, French, Dutch, Flemish, Japanese and German. Guest kitchen Our kitchen is fully equipped with pots and pans, crockery and cutlery, so you can enjoy yourself inventing a new dish or try out some of the Spanish cuisine. Linen included When you stay at Garden house Barcelona you don’t have to worry about bringing your sleeping bag, since the beds have clean sheets when you get here. In winter we also provide you with blankets, seeing that it can be quite cold in Spain . Please remind to bring your beach towel in summer!!! Reading room You can enjoy your own book or read someone else’s book from the book swap. TV room with DVD If it has been a long time since you watched television in English, you are more than welcome to watch some DVD’s in this language or if you are really interested in learning Spanish you can choose another setting. Lounge A good place to make new friends whilst chilling out or planning your next destination. Internet access It is important to stay in contact with friends and family and to plan your journey ahead, so all of this can be done by using on of our great computers. Telephone facilities And if there is a queue for the above, you can always use alternative methods… Luggage storage When you have finally decided where you’re off to next, you can always leave your luggage with us free of charge so that you don’t have to carry your backpack around while you’re waiting for your bus or train or plane! |

| INSTRUCTIONS FROM THE TRAIN STATION:
Take the green line (L3) metro from Sants Station direction Canyelles . Get off at Valldaura station . At the exit, continue walking in the same sense you leave the station and turn right at the second street (Calle d’Hedilla). We are at number 58, which will be on your left hand side. It is only 20 minutes! It will cost 1,25 euros. Please read the useful information above! INSTRUCTIONS FROM THE BUS STATION: Take the red line (L1) metro from Arc de Triomf direction Hospital de Bellvitge . Get off at Catalunya station and transfer to the green line (L3). Get off at Valldaura station. At the exit, continue walking in the same sense you leave the station and turn right at the second street (Calle d’Hedilla). We are at number 58, which will be on your left hand side. INSTRUCTIONS FROM BARCELONA AIRPORT : - Train: There is a train from the airport to the center of the city. It takes only 25 minutes. If you buy a T-10 or T-day (please see useful informations) you can use it for this train. If not, it will cost 2,60 euros. You have two options: 1) Faster: Get off in Passeig de Gracia . Take the metro Line 3 direction Canyelles and then get off in Valldaura Station . 2) Get off the train in Barcelona Sants, take the metro Line 3 direction Canyelles and then get off in Valldaura Station . At the exit, continue walking in the same sense you leave the station and turn right at the second street (Calle d’Hedilla). We are at number 58, which will be on your left hand side. - Aerobus: Outside of every terminal you will find a blue bus called Aerobus, which will take you to the centre of Barcelona. The journey takes about 20 minutes and costs less than 4 Euro. Get off at Plaza Catalunya and cross the main square. In front of you there is a building called El Triangle and Café Zurich. Opposite Café Zurich you will see the metro station where you will have to take the green line (L3) direction Canyelles . Get off at Valldaura station . At the exit, continue walking in the same sense you leave the station and turn right at the second street (Calle d’Hedilla). We are at number 58, which will be on your left hand side. - Taxi: To take a taxi from the airport will cost you around 20 or 25 Euros, but it depends on the taxi driver. INSTRUCTIONS FROM GIRONA AIRPORT : Ryanair Flights: A bus is arranged from Girona Airport to Barcelona , for every arrival of a Ryanair flight. You will be given information about this on your arrival. This service takes about an hour and costs 12 Euros. When the bus arrives in Barcelona ( Pg. de sant joan .) it drops you close to Tetuan metro station on the purple line (L2). You need to take the metro in the direction of Paral.lel, one stop to Passeig de Gracia . From there take the green line (L3) in the direction of Canyelles . Get off at Valldaura station . At the exit, continue walking in the same sense you leave the station and turn right at the second street (Calle d’Hedilla). We are at number 58, which will be on your left hand side. Make sure you know where and when to catch the bus for your return journey. USEFUL INFORMATION: There are several types of travel cards you can buy, depending on how long you are staying in Barcelona : T-10 (6,90 Euro for 10 journeys). T-Dia (5,25 Euro ilimited journeys in 1 day). These tickets also exist for 2 days (9,60 Euro), 3 days (13,70 Euro), 4 days (17,50 Euro), and 5 days (20,80 Euro) Single metro ticket (1,25 Euro). You can transfer between stations during 1h15mins. These tickets are available in metro stations, bus terminals, lottery shops, FCG stations, and newsagent kiosks. Please note that you can use the T-10 and T-Dia on the bus, metro, trains, rodalies renfe and on the nightbus.
