The Posada de Huertas is located in Madrid’s so-called "District of Letters”, where the greatest writers of the Spanish Golden Age – Cervantes, Lope de Vega, and many others – lived.

The building is a corrala, a house of several storeys built around an interior patio, which dates from the start of the 19th century.

The Posada de Huertas is the ideal place for international youth tourism and follows the guidelines proper to a hostel.

The Posada de Huertas has a capacity for 140 guests. All the rooms are equipped with cold pump air-conditioning and lockers.

The Posada de Huertas is situated at the ideal starting point for short walks to the most interesting places in Madrid: the “triangle of the arts” formed by the Prado, the Reina Sofía and the Thyssen Museums. It is near the Royal Palace, the Opera Theatre and the Puerta del Sol.

If you are coming on the Metro : Take the pink line (8) up to its terminus at "Nuevos Ministerios". Change to the dark blue line (10) in "Nuevos Ministerios" and take it up to "Tribunal". Change here to the light blue line (1) and get off at "Anton Martin".

If taking a taxi: it costs around 18 Euros

FROM the Atocha Train Station:
Si vienes en metro: Línea azul claro 1 hasta "Anton Martin" solo 2 paradas.
By Metro: Light blue line (1) up to "Anton Martin", only 2 stops.

FROM the Chamartín Train Station:
If you are taking the Metro, take the dark blue line (10) up to "Tribunal", change to the light blue line (1) and get off at "Anton Martin".
If taking a taxi: it costs around 10 euros
From the “Estación Sur de Autobuses” (South Bus Station)
Take the grey Metro line (6) at "Mendez Alvaro", change at "Pacífico" to the light blue line (1) and get off at "Anton Martín".
